Last night got… weird.

Here's some of the pages and pages of drawings Dave and I did last night.

Moleskine Madness!

Don't ask me what's going on here. I never know what's happening in my moleskine till it's too late.

Far, far too late.

Ugh. This is EXACTLY what I feel like today.

Warning, actual brain is smaller than it appears.

the Demon… abandoned

Sometimes I'll ink a sketch that isn't "all that" hoping that the verve of my ink line will spruce the image up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. This time... it didn't work so much.

I like the hands tho, it's fun drawing those stubby Jack Kirby fingernails. His legs, on the other hand, bleh.

Jack Kirby’s STARTLING new epic!

The Demon and his cage - Jason Blood!

Do yourself a favor and read the original Jack Kirby issues of the Demon. They're criz-azy, in that awesome way only Kirby comics are. Plus, you can really see the roots of Hellboy in there. So that's cool.

Corgi

Those Welsh Corgis are very energetic. They don't sit around long to let you sketch 'em, but they sure are freakin' cute!

Lupin Ankles?

Yeah? Never seen Lupin's ankles? They're skinny like twigs pokin' out the bottom of his pants. Check out the justly famous "The Castle of Cagliostro" directed by Hayao Miyazaki. There you'll find Lupin ankles aplenty.

You'll thank me later.
